This year we encouraged organisations to get involved in the Dream Employers survey and promote it to their staff. Participating organisations who had 50 or more staff fill in the survey were provided with a FREE Company Insight Report. The report uncovers lots of valuable information about staff, most importantly what makes them happy at work.

In 2011 the Dream Employers survey results found that a pay, benefits and conditions, work-life balance and culture are the top attributes that drive interest from job seekers. Your employer brand is built through a solid reputation for delivering on your employment value proposition. Developing a strong brand is key to gaining a competitive advantage in the employment market. Being recognised as a Dream Employer is a link in the chain to achieve a recognised employer brand.

In addition to creating a healthy brand, employee engagement is important for the success of any organisation. Employees who are engaged with their job/employer are shown to be more productive and are less likely to leave. Employee engagement also has a number of positive implications for a company’s profitability.  By staff participating in the survey organisations gain insights into employee satisfaction and engagement.

The results of the survey are totally anonymous and we do not disclose anyone’s individual responses. We only publish aggregated data results. Staff fill in the survey with the confidence of anonymity, tapping  into how they think and feel.
